The
El Observador Foundation was established in 1983. The mission
of the foundation is to address the social and educational
needs of the Northern California Hispanic Community and,
through cultural events and festivals, promote ethnic awareness
to Northern California’s non-Hispanic population. Over
the years. in accordance with its mission, the foundation
has assisted the following latino community based organizationand persons (partial list):

Together/Una Relacion” and “Proximo Gran Terremoto”
•Teamsters Local #890 (Christmas fund for laid off
Hispanic workers)

•YMCA Camp for disadvantaged children
